Procured from the Royal College of Arms an Armorial Ensign similar to the Herefordshire Kemble family Ensign "Sable on a bend ermine three leopard heads caboshed" since he was " unwilling to bear Armorial Ensigns without due authority" This source describes Roger as of Kentish Town in the Parish of St. Pancras.
