At Golden Grove has been displayed for hundreds of years the Hirlas Horn, popularly believed to be a direct gift form Henry VII to his host , Dafydd ab leuan of Llwyn Dfydd, on his way to Bosworth Field. This historic relic descended to the Lloyds of Llanlear, and, thus, to Bridget. Through her it passed into the hands of the Vaughans. Her father was Thomas Lloyd.
