"MRS. M. TRACY DIES AFTER FALL AT HOME Services for Aged Fairfield Woman To Be Tuesday AT 10:30 A.M. Mrs. Marion Tracy, 86(or 88- hard to read] passed away at the Jefferson County Hospital Saturday night. Death resulted from injuries sustained in a fall at her home three weeks ago. Funeral services in charge of Dr. Gable and Rev. Ireland, will be at the Murray Funeral Home, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Tracy was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Eller , and was born on a farm near Brookville, Ia. on March 19, 1848, where she resided until 1919, when she moved to fairfield. She married the late Marion Tracy, Civil war veteran, on December 31, 1868. Mr. and Mrs. Tracy lived to celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary. She was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church of this city. Those left to mourn the passing are three sons, F. W. of Los Angeles, California, George W. and Arthur of Fairfield, and three daughters, Mrs. C. D. Laughlin of Odessa (?) Mo., Mrs. Harry Raft (?) and Olive of Fairfield, also nine grand children and six great grandchildren.

America Eller, daughter of Simeon and Fanny Eller, was born abt 1841- 1842 in Wilkes Co., North Carolina. Her father died when she was about 8 years old. She married William R. Whittington in 1859, when she was about 18 years old. They had 3 children, Thomas, Gaither (?) and Dora Whittington (she is called Nora in the J. W. Hook George Michael Eller and descendants of his in America, but she is found in the 1880 census of Ashe County living with her mother, who is apparently divorced from her husband, who is remarried. Her oldest son is living with his grandparents, Allen and Mary Eller Whittington. Mary is America Eller Whittington's sister. Gaither, her middle child, is not living with her or his grandparents. He must have another name he used, as a search did not turn up a Gaither Whittington anywhere in the United States.
